Spring Refresh 2019

March 20, 2019 marks the official start of the Spring Equinox. Aside from having warmer weather and more daylight, it’s the perfect season to lighten up your home decor. Ring in Spring with these easy updates to your interior design!

Add fresh flowers to your home for an instant lift. A beautiful bouquet will lighten and brighten your space while adding lovely colors to the space. If replacing flowers every week or two isn’t your thing, you can opt for lovely pre-made fake floral arrangements or plants that are easy to care for.

Put heavy blankets, warm bedding, and winter decor away. Replace with light throws, linen sheets, and all things floral to represent the return of warm weather. Consider packing away thick textiles, such as a faux-fur pillow, and focus on cotton fabrics.

Changing up wall colors, painting cabinets, or giving small pieces of furniture a paint makeover is a fun way to create some much needed interior design upgrades. These quick weekend projects will have you feeling as though you live in a brand new home. Consider the Pantone Color of the Year, Living Coral, or try out a more subtle hue. Color can calm or energize any space so choose which you need for Spring and get to painting!
